All sessions are scheduled to be complete by the stated closing time. Sessions must be scheduled at least one day in advance. Email is a great way to get the ball rolling and exchange information; a short phone call with new clients is also required.
Unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. In my desire to be effective and fair to all affected, the following policies are honored:
24 hours advance notice is required when cancelling an appointment. This allows someone else to schedule in your place. If you give less than 24 hours advance notice you will be charged a $50 reservation fee. This amount must be paid prior to any subsequent appointment.
Anyone who fails to show up for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show.” No-shows will be charged the full price of the “missed” appointment. This amount must be paid prior to any subsequent appointment. No-shows are bad karma—just sayin'.
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened accordingly. Depending on how late you arrive, your therapist will determine if there is enough time remaining for your session. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given (and even if no treatment is given), you will be responsible to pay for the “full” session reserved for you. Out of consideration for your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.
