Peace. Love. Joy. Bodywork that supports peace and personal growth.
Nothing real can be threatened, nothing unreal exists.
A Course in Miracles
If your life is working, don't study A Course in Miracles. It will ruin it.
the late Kenneth Wapnick, Ph.D.
preeminent ACIM scholar (and humorist)
A Course in Miracles is three life-changing books designed for self study which gently teach that we are the masters of our seemingly separate minds, which in reality reside as One, at peace within the Mind of God. The Course explains how forgiveness removes the obstacles to our awareness of the constant presence of Love, and teaches us how to practice it. By practicing forgiveness we reclaim inner peace.
Let every voice but God's be still in me.

Forgiveness: A Technical Definition
Complete forgiveness is reclaiming our spiritual identity of innocence and wholeness through the process of transmuting projection (based on separation and judgment) into compassion and love. The way is through Oneness--recognizing our connection with all things formerly perceived as less than or greater than ourselves--things perceived as disturbing or attractive.
Some Principles from A Course in Miracles
Spirit: I am spirit. I am not a body. I am free. Whatever suffers is not part of me.
My Father gives all power unto me. The Son of God is limitless. There are no limits on his strength, his peace, his joy. . .I am he to whom all this is given. . .in whom the power of my Father's Will abides.
Mind: Thought creates. There are no idle thoughts. The mind never sleeps. Every instant it is creating.
The ego is a dream. . . a thought you are apart from your Creator and a wish to be what He created not. . . nothingness in a form that seems like something. There is no definition for a lie that serves to make it true. Nor can there be a truth that lies conceal effectively. Look at its opposite and you can see the only answer that is meaningful. The ego's opposite in every way,–in origin, effect and consequence– we call a miracle. The miracle forgives; the ego damns. Neither need be defined except by this. . . .
It is perfectly obvious that if the Holy Spirit looks with love on all He perceives, He looks with love on you. His evaluation of you is based on His knowledge of what you are, and so He evaluates you truly. And this evaluation must be in your mind because He is. The ego is also in your mind because you have accepted it there. Its evaluation of you, however, is the exact opposite of the Holy Spirit's because the ego does not love you. It is unaware of what you are and wholly mistrustful of everything it perceives because its own perceptions are so shifting. The ego is therefore capable of suspiciousness at best and viciousness at worst. That is its range. It cannot exceed it because of its uncertainty. And it can never go beyond it because it can never be certain. . . .
Holy Spirit: The great correction principle, the Communication Link between God and His seemingly separated Sons. The Holy Spirit knows because He is part of God; He perceives because He was sent to save humanity.
The Holy Spirit seems to be whatever meets the needs you think you have. But He is not deceived when you perceive your self entrapped in needs you do not have. It is from these He would deliver you.
The Law of One:
The opposite of Love is fear, but only Love is real. What is all-encompassing can have no opposite. Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists.
The Law of Love: To give and to receive are one in truth. Miracles are expressions of Love that bring more Love both to the giver and the receiver.
Forgiveness: Forgiveness looks past bodies and ends all suffering and loss. Let me perceive forgiveness as it is. I forgive illusions, not truth. This allows me to forgive anything that comes into my awareness without exception and without reserve. When I forgive, I accept my innocence.
Miracles: Miracles are a change in perception. Miracles are thoughts. Miracles represent freedom from fear. Miracles forgive.
This instant is the only time there is. . . In this instant has forgiveness come to set me free. The birth of Christ is now, without a past or future. . . Love is ever-present, here and now.
True perception is a remedy with many names. Forgiveness, salvation, Atonement, true perception, all are one. . . This is the shift that true perception brings: What was projected out is seen within, and there forgiveness lets it disappear. . . What is seen outside must lie beyond forgiveness, for it seems to be forever sinful. . . But seen within your mind, guilt and forgiveness for an instant lie together, side by side, upon one altar. There at last are sickness and its single remedy joined in one healing brightness. God has come to claim His Own. Forgiveness is complete.
And now God's knowledge, changeless, certain, pure and wholly understandable, enters its kingdom. . . O my brothers, if you only knew the peace that will envelop you and hold you safe and pure and lovely in the Mind of God, you could but rush to meet Him where His altar is. Hallowed your Name and His, for they are joined here in this holy place. Here He leans down to lift you up to Him, out of illusions into holiness; out of the world and to eternity; out of all fear and given back to Love.
